The Yucca plant is an evergreen shrub that belongs to the Asparagus family. Native to the Americas, the healing properties of this versatile little number are far-reaching and even its roots are particularly good for making soap. We love the majestic structure of this plant as part of a stylish green corner of a room.
To match its impressive looks, the Yucca also has the names Yucca Elephantipes, Yucca Gigantean and Spineless Yucca. Its leaves are sword-shaped and grow from the top of a bare trunk, making this look more like a tree than a plant. This gives quite the statement look.
We think Yucca plants pair particularly well with some of our smaller plants including our medium cactus and Dracaena trio. Together you can create a Southwestern Desert style, a contemporary interiors look that is very on-trend.
