More about the Haworthia

The Haworthia has many names such as the zebra cactus, star window, and cushion aloe.

It is one of our best-loved mini plants with a distinctive spiky style and sometimes with translucent leaves, similar to its cousins in the Aloe family.

They love bright light (but not all-day full sun) and thrive in sandy, well-draining soil.

Did you know?

Haworthia is named after the botanist Adrian Hardy Haworth. There are now over 150 recognised species of Haworthia!
