Haworthia

£9.95

Distinctive in appearance with their stunning zebra like stripes, these tough little succulents add interest and style.

Description

The Haworthia is one of many succulents that are formed little rosettes of leaves. This variety, in particular, more commonly known as ‘Big Band’ has a number of delicate slim leaves that make up the plant. Dark green and white in colour, with a firm rough texture these hardy little succulents, are a wonderful addition to any indoor jungle! Working particularly well with our very cool black and gold pots, this would be perfect styled exclusively on a coffee table or sideboard or grouped with 2 or 3 little friends of differing height to create a little succulent family.

The Haworthia is a great plant to combine with a Sansevieria plant. Read our guide on how to look after a Sansevieria plant.

Plant Care

Do not water the leaves. A very tiny bit of water can be put under the leaves, straight into the soil. The Haworthia is very used to dry conditions and thrives in that, so water once every 1-2 months! What could be more simple?

Love this little plant, had one for about 6 months now and did think it was looking a little shrivelled but suddenly it now has a shoot growing from the middle! Am I to get a flower?
