This large Snakey is just the ideal plant for those plant lovers, wanting to remove toxins from the air.
Sansevieria (Snakey) are native to Africa and Madagascar so they will thrive in warm conditions, like a nice warm house and they love bright light. Having said that, they’re a very low maintenance plant so will be quite happy in a partially shaded area and will tolerate some neglect – perfect for the time-poor and newbie plant parents among you!
The gorgeous, pointy leaves of your Snake Plant will stand tall to form a gorgeous bundle, giving you a gorgeous pop of deep green colour and when they flower, they produce a single spike of small white flowers – just beautiful.
Would you like some luck in your lives? According to the ancient art of Feng Shui, the Snake Plant brings good luck and cuts through negative energy, just one of many reasons why this green beauty is a fab addition to your indoor jungle. As well as bringing a boost of good luck and positive energy, the fabulous Snake Plant also brings a whole host of health benefits. He’s a brilliant air purifying plant, working particularly hard during the night, absorbing CO2 and other toxins so he’s a great plant to include in your bedroom décor. Please note: the Snake Plant you receive may differ in colour and pattern from our photos. Snake Plants are known as rough and ready beauties; splits, markings, tip discolouration and imperfections on the leaves are all very normal and the colour and patterns will vary from plant to plant. Whatever patterns and colours you receive, they’re sure to be unique and oh-so-beautiful.
Don’t be over generous with your watering. Give your Sansevieria aprox. 300 ml of water every few weeks. You can let the soil become dry to the touch between watering. Feed with a generic houseplant feed every couple of months. Is happiest in a bright area of full sun but will tolerate partial light conditions indoors.
