Care
The Dieffenbachia enjoys having slightly moist soil, ensure the plant is watered thoroughly once the surface of the soil is dry. Droopy leaves are often caused by underwatering. Feel the soil of your plant, when the surface is dry to the touch your plant is ready for a drink. We’d suggest you do the thumb check every week to make sure it gets what it needs.
Give your Dieffenbachia has lots of daylight and it will reward you with new growth. Don’t forget to rotate your plant regularly, as it will grow toward the light source.
Please Note: Dieffenbachia have a toxic sap that if ingested can cause the tongue to swell, giving the plant its nickname, “Dumb Cane”.
