Croton Petra

The ultimate plant for a burst of Autumnal colour! The Croton Petra is simply stunning and a fab choice for bringing a burst of colour to your interior jungle. Their gorgeous patterned leaves boast bursts of oranges and yellow against the vibrant green, a real treat for the eyes and the perfect plant to brighten up your home for Autumn. The vibrant colours can take centre stage because the choices of decorative pots are all pleasingly neutral; choose between a bespoke stoneware in almond, charcoal or grey or our signature belly basket.

These colourful beauties are oh-so-easy to care for too. Find them a nice bright spot, give them a good drink when the top layer of soil has dried out and mist them regularly as they love humidity. For more info about Croton care, check out our handy care guide.

Begonia Maculata

When it comes to visual interest, our next pick, the Begonia Maculata, is pretty unrivalled thanks to his distinctive white polka-dotted leaves with a purple underside. These gorgeously unique beauties provide a real wow factor for your indoor jungle. Choose an almond, charcoal or grey ceramic for this spotted beauty and sit back to admire the gorgeous view.

To keep your Polka Dot Begonia happy, water him once a week and make sure he’s not left sitting in water as he’s susceptible to root rot. He will enjoy a nice, bright spot, out of direct sunlight.

Tradescantia Zebrina

You’ll go wild for this fabulous houseplant with his zebra-like stripy leaves and a subtle hint of purple. This trailing beauty is available in our classic houseplant pots or to supercharge the elegant style, go for our marble planter with stand.

Keep this wild beauty happy by giving him a drink every 7 to 10 days and placing him in a bright spot.

Croton Bush Fire

As plants that are perfect for Autumn go, you can’t get much better than this bright, tropical, leafy beauty. The Croton Bush Fire boasts the full spectrum of the Autumn colour palette, from greens and yellows to reds and oranges. The perfect way to add some cheer to your interior this season, available in a choice of almond, charcoal or grey stoneware, he’s sure to compliment your Autumnal interior style.

And, to top it off, he’s wonderfully low maintenance too; water him when the top of the soil has dried out, place him in a bright spot away from direct sunlight and keep him away from radiators and out of draughts.

Calathea

Are you looking to make a statement in your indoor jungle this Autumn? Then look no further than our Big Calathea. These big beauties, available in our signature seagrass and cotton belly baskets or our concrete ceramics, measure up to 60cm tall so are sure to provide that statement focal point you’re looking for. Also known as a Prayer Plant, these green beauties move their leaves to follow the daylight and they have a stunningly striking leaf design. All in all, a totally mesmerising, must-have house plant!

To keep this big guy thriving, water him every 7 to 10 days, choose a medium-lit spot away from direct sunlight and treat him to a mist every week or so. For more info, read our helpful Calathea Care Guide.

Dieffenbachia

Look at the simply splendid leaf markings on the next choice in our list of Autumn Houseplants. The various shades of dark green, pale green and white that adorn these large leaves are simply spellbinding and sure to brighten up your living space. This striking green beauty is easy to look after too, give him a drink when the top layer of soil has dried out and rotate him regularly to encourage even growth. A word of caution for this green beauty, the sap is poisonous if ingested so this plant is best avoided if you have young children or curious pets.

Croton Pictum

Brighten up your indoor style with a Croton Pictum. We couldn’t resist including this guy, with his spiky and colourful leaves, he’s sure to bring a smile to your face. Not only is he gorgeous, he’s also super easy to look after. Simply water him when the top layer of soil is dry and keep him out of direct sunlight.

Haworthia

Distinctive in appearance with stunning zebra-like stripes, these tough little succulents will add interest and style to your interior. There are so many fab reasons to choose succulents for your Autumnal makeover. They’re super low maintenance, only needing water every 1 to 2 months making them perfect for newbie or time-poor plant parents. And they’re nice and small, so perfect if you’re a little short on space.

Alocasia

His eye-catching veined leaves give the Alocasia his natural beauty. With striking, silvery-grey veins contrasting dramatically with the glossy dark green of his leaves, this really is an unusual yet gorgeous Autumn houseplant. This big, pointy fellow will add real wow factor to your indoor jungle. To keep him happy, protect him from full sun. He much prefers indirect light and moderate shade. And being a tropical plant, he loves warmth and humidity and moist but not soggy soil. For more info on how to care for your Alocasia, take a look at our care guide.

Begonia Beleaf

This final pick might be last on the list but is by no means least. The Begonia Beleaf is truly a work of art, each leaf has its own unique markings in green, pink, silver or red with a contrasting colour often found on the underside of the leaves. Simply beautiful to behold and a must-have plant for a super chic Autumn makeover. Keep this beauty thriving with regular water and a well-lit spot.
