Plant Care

Only water when the top of the soil is dry to the touch but ensure it gets a good drink once it is watered. If worried you have overwatered your Croton, check the ceramic for any excess water and tip it away. Crotons love a sunny spot but be careful their leaves don’t get scorched in strong direct sunlight.

Read our plant care guide, to help keep your Croton looking fresh.

Couldn’t be happier with my Croton Petra. I’m new to keeping plants and finding it very straight forward with minimal care. It brightens my kitchen no end. Eyeing up where else I can place plants from TLB. Great service, packaged well for delivery with no damage.

This Croton Petra is beautiful. I made the mistake of moving it while I decorated and it quickly told me it didnt like it so I put it back and it seemed instantly happier. Keep it warm. Its beautiful.

I had purchased the fire croton for a gift and when looking to buy for myself, I knew I wanted a few from the croton family. This plant didn’t disappoint; love the colour of the leaves! And so far it seems happy with my watering habits, so we must be a good match

Gorgeous, colourful, seems very sturdy, and takes very little to care for it. Love it!
