The Sansevieria (Snake Plants) are native to Africa and Madagascar so they will thrive in warm conditions, like a nice warm house and they love bright light. Having said that, they’re a very low maintenance plant so will be quite happy in a partially shaded area and will tolerate some neglect – perfect for the time-poor and newbie plant parents among you!
The gorgeous, pointy leaves of your Snake Plant will stand tall to form a gorgeous bundle, giving you a gorgeous pop of deep green colour and when they flower, they produce a single spike of small white flowers – just beautiful.

Please note: the Snake Plant you receive may differ in colour and pattern from our photos. Snake Plants are known as rough and ready beauties; splits, markings, tip discolouration and imperfections on the leaves are all very normal and the colour and patterns will vary from plant to plant. Whatever patterns and colours you receive, they’re sure to be unique and oh-so-beautiful.
Care
Don’t be over generous with your watering. Give your Sansevieria approx. 300 ml of water every few weeks. You can let the soil become dry to the touch between watering. Feed with a generic houseplant feed every couple of months. Is happiest in a bright area of full sun but will tolerate partial light conditions indoors.
