Only water when the top of the soil is dry to the touch. Once watered tip the plant upside down over the sink to allow any excess water drain off. Crotons love a sunny spot.

I’ve had my little croton for 2 weeks now and it has already put out a new leaf. It’s sitting in a South West facing windowsill in my kitchen and is happy there.
I make sure if the sun is very hot to pull it out of the direct rays until the sun starts setting and I mist it most days but other than that, I find this plant easy to look after and BEAUTIFUL to look at. Very pleased!
