Also known as the Valentine plant or sweetheart wax plant, this green beauty is native to South-East Asia. The Hoya Kerrii is a member of the genus Hoya, which compromises more than 200 species of evergreen, succulent vines and shrubs. The plant itself is a single leaf rooted upright in a pot, so it won't grow with any vigour. But don't worry, it is very low maintenance and will look fab in your home for many months or years to come.

Care

Do not water directly onto the heart-shaped leaf. A small amount of water can be put under the leaves, directly into the soil.  Water sparingly (once every 3 weeks) and avoid overwatering – this little plant prefers to dry out between drinks. With the right care, your Sweetheart Hoya will remain a cute addition to your indoor jungle. Pay attention to the sunlight it receives during Summer. It will thrive best in indirect, bright light.
