I’m an easy going fern who cleans the air of toxins and pollutants, and I love office spaces and living rooms.

Take a look at this more unusual, interesting fern – it is oh so beautiful.  The Blue Star Fern has elongated fronds which are a stunning soft blue–green colour, making this plant a great addition to your indoor jungle, adding beautiful contrast to all the greenery. Its ability to tolerate lower-light conditions and relatively easy care, make it a great choice for both beginners and more experienced plant lovers.

This beautiful fern is an air-purifying powerhouse. That combined with its fascinating look, makes the Blue Star Fern a must-have to style your living space.

I'm not just pretty, I am pet friendly too.

Other names: Phlebodium aureum, gold-foot fern, blue-star fern, hare-foot fern.

Our Ferns are grown in 100% Peat-Free compost but have a very small amount of peat in the plug which means these little guys are 97% Peat-Free.

This plant is grown in The Little Botanical's peat-free soil, which is specially formulated with environmentally-friendly ingredients to support the plant's growth while reducing our impact on the planet, reflecting our commitment to sustainable practices.

Care

The Blue Star Fern enjoys having slightly moist soil, ensure the fern is watered thoroughly once the surface of the soil is dry. Make sure the plant can drain and never allow this blue beauty to sit in water as this will cause the roots to rot. Like all ferns, the Blue Star Fern loves to be misted and likes high humidity.

Don’t forget to keep him out of draughts and away from radiators.

He’s happy in most areas (avoiding direct light) and even in a slightly shady corner of your home. We suggest he avoids direct bright sunlight in Summer months as this will scorch the leaves.

  • Sent as a present but apparently it was a fine-looking plant!

  • I received this little plant as a mystery gift and I just love it. The blue/green leaves are stunning and unusual. It looks fab in a white pot on my bathroom window sill, where it can get plenty of humidity.
