I am a large leafy palm and easy to look after! With all those leaves, I look great in any space.

The Areca Palm provides an amazing tropical feel. It looks perfect when placed in bright spaces and loves being at the centre of attention. These fabulous plants look better than ever in our stylish Little Botanical concrete pots.

When purchasing a Large Areca Palm online please consider 1 or 2 leaves may be damaged during transit. This will not affect the overall look of the plant and any damages should be trimmed at the base of the plant. All plants will grow new leaves, with the right care, and the Areca Palm is so leafy it will look perfect with a little trim to remove a damaged leaf or 2. Remember, as the plant has taken a little journey to get to you, and it is living it will need to adjust to its new home. Place it in its’ spot in your home and be patient, within 24 hours it should find its shape again as it gets used to its new home.

Care

An Areca palm likes a well-lit spot but not direct sunlight. Direct sun can cause the leaves to brown. The soil should be kept slightly moist. Areca palms should be watered once a week and don’t forget that they love to be misted to keep their leaves fresh and green. Underwatering can cause dried leaves and brown leaf tips. In general, although they should be kept moist do not let them sit in water.
