Well what a week we had last week at The Little Botanical. We thoroughly enjoyed exhibiting at our first retail exhibition Top Drawer and what a whirlwind it was. From designing our stand, to carefully selecting the plants to take, to manning the fixture – it was a real team effort. Excitement levels in the office were full to the brim and it was all hands on deck to get everything together to make this trade show a really good one.
On Saturday morning we took ourselves and a van load of plants up to Olympia to set up. High vis jackets, a screwdriver in hand and copious amounts of plants and ceramics and shelving and Ta Daa.. we had set up our beautiful stand. A celebratory drink was in order!
Sunday morning, we left leafy Chichester nice and early and were so thrilled to be greeted by our own gorgeous Little Botanical plants in the Trend Café. They were selected for a starring position at the entrance, alongside some well-known brands curated by Emily Dunstan – buyer for Heals, by Flamingo. Our plants finished off the space perfectly (well we would say that wouldn’t we – no bias here!).
Sunday went brilliantly – we spoke to so many people that were interested in adding some greenery to their shops and their lives that we were absolutely run off our feet! By the evening we were just about able to make it up to the rooftop bar next to Olympia and sip on a cheeky beer – a perfect end to a busy day. Cheers!
Monday and Tuesday passed in a busy blur of greenery and people. We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting our customers face to face and hearing all about how our brand works for them.
Your plants dress the shop so well
We love getting a Little Botanical delivery – it makes our day!
We couldn’t be happier to hear all about how our lovely plants enhance their space and sell well too! A win-win in our opinion.
The show itself, whilst busy and chockablock full of discerning buyers, had such a lovely sense of calm. It even felt like a day out rather than work! We were constantly surrounded by the most gorgeous things, interesting new trends and important things we didn’t know we needed until we spotted them.
Top Drawer. You’ve been great. You delivered a delicious scoop of excitement to all of us at Team TLB. The cherry on the top was catching up with some of our existing TLB partners, as well as introducing some new people to the wonder of our gorgeous greenery. Our Little Botanical Plants will soon be arriving in some new locations and we couldn’t be prouder.
