Hand-Poured, Luxury Candles from The Little Botanical

Our British-made, luxury candles are hand-poured on the south coast of England by an award-winning candle-makers. They are based just down the road from our TLB nurseries right here in West Sussex. They are an oh-so-fabulous collaboration between two passionate and creative, family-run British businesses. And we may be biased, but we think the results are outstanding. Each candle is hand-poured into a bespoke TLB reactive glazed ceramic with a mango wood lid. The stunning ceramics can be repurposed once the candle has burned down. Use it as a super stylish pen pot or even pop in a plant from our naked range.

And the lid is already brilliantly sustainable because it is made from mango wood. Here at TLB we choose mango wood for a range of our homewares and accessories because of its sustainable qualities. Mango trees are largely cultivated for their fruit. The wood is used once the trees have become too tall to harvest. The mango farmers are able to plant new trees in place of the ones they cut down and they will receive additional income from the wood that they sell.  Thanks to the hard-wearing and water-resistant properties of mango wood, your candle lid can continue to be used. We think it is perfect as a very handy coaster even when it’s no longer needed for the candle.

Each candle is packaged in a gorgeous TLB box, with a lid designed to be lifted off slowly. This allows the scent to engulf you immediately. And with an impressive scent throw and more than 30 hours of burn time, these candles are the perfect way to make your home an inviting and welcoming space.
