Competition time with Bath Boards
Here at The Little Botanical, we love a competition to say thank you to our lovely fans. This month we are super excited to be partnering with Bath Boards. This awesome family-run (like us) brand are forcing us all to spend that little bit longer relaxing after a hard day and we just love their products!
We wanted to find out a little bit more about Lucy, the founder of Bath Boards, so we asked her some questions-
What time does your alarm wake you?
My alarm clock is my 3-year-old little girl Jolene who likes to be up from 5 am! That’s if we are lucky she’s slept through!
As soon as you arrive in the office you….?
I work from home so it’s all go once I’m back from the school run, emails are checked first then onto packaging the boards ready for collection.
What inspired you to start your business?
I am a self-confessed bath addict & wanted that extra bit of luxury for my ‘me time’ my husband Col made me a bath board, and the rest is history! It was a happy accident starting my business really it just took off and we couldn’t be happier!
Best part of your job?
The best part of my job is definitely seeing our bath boards in customers’ homes & how happy they are with them. I also love painting the boards, especially in the leopard print rocks design!
At 5 pm you can be seen…
Making the tea for Col coming in from his day job (he makes my bath boards in his spare time) and our 3 children.
Do you have a favourite house plant?
I would have to say my favourite house plant is my peace Lilly she’s been with us for around 10 years now I’m quite good at keeping plants alive I think the secret is don’t fuss with them too much!
Tell us your favourite Instagram account?
I have lots of favourite Instagram accounts I don’t think I could choose one there are so many inspirational small businesses out there doing their thing its a really great platform to be involved in, but a couple that really helped me, in the beginning, was @cocoandindie_ & @lisadawson they know their stuff have great content & stories!
