One of our very favourite plants here at The Little Botanical has to be a Hydrangea. These stunning, huge bloomed plants are very well known for their regular appearances in garden shrubs. Flowering from late spring to late autumn, these popular garden additions are an easy to care for plant that provides colour and flowers for many months.

These beloved flowers have certainly grown in popularity over the last few years and can now be seen in bouquets, interior design, art, fashion and even wedding styling.

One of the most exciting additions to our nursery over the last few years has to be the Magical Hydrangea. We added it to The Little Botanical product range this week and the response has been fantastic!

This incredible plant is an indoor flowering hydrangea that flowers for 150 days- and it really, really does flower for that long. The compact, rich flowering house hydrangea comes in two colours, a light blue and a very on trend subtle/ dusty pink. These are thirsty plants, so we do recommend giving them a bit of water every few days to keep the full flowers looking at their best.

Find our blue ones here and the pink ones here!

As we mentioned earlier, we have seen a real increase in the use of the Hydrangea across interior trends, fashion and design. Here are some of our favourites we have been swooning over-

Blazer from Hush– Now the sun is shining it is blazer weather again and this gorgeous brightly coloured silk blazer really is rocking the Hydrangea print perfectly.

Notebook from RHS– This spring the RHS have launched this stunning collection of homewares and stationary in a Hydrangea print. We love this notebook, being an office full of stationery loving ladies, we always need a new excuse to invest in yet more!

Something for the lust list- This Dolce and Gabbana dress! We know its very expensive, and unlikely we will ever own it… but how could we not include it and show you how gorgeous it is?

Finally, a little bit of floral print for your sofa or bed! We absolutely love these gorgeous cushions from Not on the High Street. Its always great to support independent sellers too!

Enjoy the sunshine and your Hydrangeas this Spring/ Summer.
